Eye Care
The Lions Club may be able to assist those in our area who are unable to afford eye care for themselves or their children. Applicants must be in dire need of financial assistance. Please contact the Bay County Health Department at 872-4455 to obtain an application.
Florida's Vision Quest
A not-for-profit (501c3) public children's charity, permanently impacts children's lives by providing free children's eye exams and quality new eyeglasses for Florida's most vulnerable children who can't see clearly enough to read and can't afford suitable eye care.
Hearing Aids
The Lions Club may be able to assist in securing a hearing aid for those in need through their Hearing Aid Bank of North Florida. Please call the Bay County Health Department at 872-4455 to obtain an application.
Communication Devices for Deaf and Speech Impaired Persons
The Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. distributes specialized equipment for residents of Florida who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf/blind, or speech impaired. This equipment can be used to place telephone calls. If you qualify, the equipment is loaned to you for as long as you need it at no charge. The equipment is funded by mandate of the Telecommunications Access System Act.
